Let me say there is a huge internet marketing learning curve for new web entrepreneurs no mater if you have an information technology, computer or marketing college degree. You have to learn "how to market online". The absolutely best way I have found to get started online is with Squidoo. It is easy to get started and you are supported by an online community.
I also believe Squidoo is without doubt one of the best and easiest ways to make money online, too. However, there is a Squidoo marketing learning curve for new users. If Squidoo sounds like something you might be interested in doing, I highly recommend you consider getting a mentor. A Squidoo Lensmaster mentor basically takes a beginner by the hand and guides them step by step through the whole process. This will save you time.

What Would I do Differently Now From When I First Started on Squidoo?
Looking back, I would have created more than one Squidoo account to split my lenses into different accounts for each niche.
1. Helping others through Web 2.0 Coaching
2. Reviews Only
3. Other interests
That would have enabled me to have a primary keyword phrase lensmaster's name for each niche, be more organized and save time because I am setting up new accounts and re-stucturing my lenses now. It's the little tips like this that can make a big difference when you are a novice lensmaster and save you time latter.
Important tip I learned 7 months after making my make first Squidoo lens is to make sure your bio text and image on the Squidoo lens you are creating reflects the content of that particular lens. You can create a differrent bio text and image for each lens.
Important tip I learned 7 months after making my make first Squidoo lens is the importance of including your primary targeted keyword (bolded), and appropriate hyperlink (web site, blog or afflilate link) and focus article content of 250 words with a variation of your keyword in the Introduction Module.
Last but not least, make sure your profile on the Squidoo reflects and brands you and your business.
Squidoo.com is a powerful Web 2.0 site. Squidoo is designed to be a resource for people looking for information. Squidoo's users are called "Lensmasters" and their web sites or web pages are called "Lenses."
